The Carpenter/Laborer at Moser Homes is a hands-on role focused on performing a combination of technical services and manual labor tasks. This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining the companys high-quality standards, ensuring both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, moving materials, site clean-up, and preparation.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, representing Moser Construction Managements commitment to excellence.
  • Accurately update the customer service system daily for service reporting.
  • Coordinate scheduling of service work with homeowners and vendors, and diagnose necessary actions.
  • Conduct initial and final warranty walkthroughs with homeowners.
  • Apply technical construction skills for diagnosing and resolving field problems.
  • Train others in service issues, problem diagnosis, and basic construction repair techniques.
  • Manage multiple service order requests with strong organizational skills.
  • Use computer systems for tracking service data, aiding in material specification and construction technique improvements.
  • Perform miscellaneous punch-out tasks before and through walk-throughs and settlements.
  • Ensure house cleanliness before the pre-drywall walk and before painting.
  • Install all floor protection during the final construction phase.
  • Complete pre-settlement and settlement punch lists meticulously.
  • Meet with and oversee trade partner warranty appointments.
  • Use personal tools for job duties. Company-provided tools are available upon request and approval by the head of construction.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in carpentry or the construction industry.
  • In-depth technical knowledge and hands-on skills in construction and repairs.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage conflicts professionally and work effectively under pressure.
  • Organizational skills to handle schedules and service requests.
  • Adaptability to evolving job requirements and willingness to learn.

Salary and Benefits:
