The Finish Carpenter at Moser Homes is a hands-on role focused on performing detailed carpentry work to deliver the high-quality finishes our clients expect. This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining the company's high standards, ensuring both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Perform precise and detailed carpentry tasks including installing doors, windows, trim, cabinets, and other finish carpentry elements.
Assist in touch-ups and finalizing projects to ensure high-quality finishes. Complete all open punch list items.
Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
Take on small projects and renovations, acting as the primary carpenter.
Work closely with the project team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years experience in carpentry or the construction industry.
Expertise in trim, doors/hardware, cabinetry, millwork, and other trades.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering quality craftsmanship.
Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment.
Knowledge of construction safety guidelines and practices.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work and coordinate with homeowners and other tradesmen.
Punctual, reliable, and consistently professional in all interactions.
Organizational skills to handle schedules and service requests.
Adaptability to evolving job requirements and willingness to learn.
Valid driver's license and clean DMV driving record. Capable of driving to job sites as needed.
Salary and Benefits:
Part-Time position
Salary ranging from $25.00 to $40.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
